The Exhibition of Ervin Löffler in Oslo

From the 30 May 2017 to 15 August 2017, the exhibiton of the marble and bronze sculptures of the Hungarian-born, Pro Cultura Hungarica-prize awarded Ervin Löffler (1922–2012) is on view at the Galleri VI,VII (0160, Tordenskiold gate 12.) Ervin Löffer emmigrated from Hungary to Norway in 1947 as a Holocaust-survivor. His professional career was blossomed here in Norway. Nowadays, 18 of his sculptural work can be seen on public spaces and buildings in Norway.

The exhibition was realised by the Galleri VI,VII in cooperation with late family of Ervin Löffler, the Jødisk Museet in Oslo and the Hungarian Embassy in Oslo.

At the inauguration ceremony, the owner of the Galleri VI,VII, Esperanza Rosales greeted the audience. After her contribution, H.E. Ambassador Anna Mária Sikó, the Hungarian Ambassador in Oslo hold an inauguration speech. The inauguration in the gallery was followed by a recepetion at the Hungarian Embassy in Oslo.
