Janne Haaland Matláry was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary

On 22 October 2020, during the National Day reception held at the Embassy Her Excellency Ambassador Anna Mária Sikó handed over Janne Haaland Matláry the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary. Janne Haaland Matláry, professor of the Political Science Institution, University of Oslo was awarded by President of Hungary, His Excellency János Áder in recognition of her invaluable contribution to strengthening Hungarian-Norwegian relations and representing Hungary in Norwegian public life and academia.
